ROTARY CLUB HELPS SHEPHERDSTOWN GET READY FOR CHRISTMAS
Members of the Shepherdstown Rotary Club pitched in last Thursday and Friday (November 19 and 20) to erect and decorate the town's Christmas tree on the McMurran Hall lawn.
The Rotary Club has performed this service for the town each year since the town's "Christmas in Shepherdstown" celebration began more than 30 years ago.
This year's tree was again donated by Dan and Bryan Trees (formerly Sundback's) of Shepherdstown, which has generously provided the town with Christmas trees for many years.
This year's Christmas in Shepherdstown will begin formally at McMurran Hall around 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 26 with the traditional children's story reading, tree lighting, and Santa's arrival. The town will hold its annual Christmas parade at 10:00 a.m. December 4.
