REV. BROPLEH JOINS SHEPHERDSTOWN ROTARY CLUB
The Rotary Club of Shepherdstown has inducted the Rev. Rudy Bropleh as a new member.
The induction ceremony was held at the Club's November 16 breakfast meeting at the Bavarian Inn.

Dr. Bropleh is an adjunct economics professor at Shepherd University and an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. He serves as the Senior Pastor of Shepherdstown’s Asbury United Methodist Church.
He is also the founder and President of the IMPACT Institute, an organization focusing on capacity-building within underprivileged and underserved communities. In addition, he serves as Chairman of the Board and Director of Shenandoah Community Health, and he is a member of the Advisory Council of Shepherd University Nursing Department.
A native of Liberia, Dr. Bropleh has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Liberia and a Master of Science in Economics from Johns Hopkins University. He also holds a Master of Divinity from Howard University and a Master of Theology from St. Mary’s Seminary & University. He studied at Oxford University, earning a Ph.D. in Pastoral Psychology.
Dr. Bropleh and his wife, Everane, reside in Shepherdstown. They have five children of their own and three adopted children.
Since 2019, the Shepherdstown Rotary Club has comprised two groups of members: a morning group that meets weekly on Tuesdays, and an evening group that meets bi-weekly on Wednesdays. Hamady will be part of the weekly Tuesday morning group.
