Please welcome our newest Rotarian, Madison Palmer!
Madison grew up in North Carolina and moved to Morgantown, WV in 2016 to pursue her B.S. in Forensic & Investigative Science with a crime scene examination emphasis. Upon completion, she worked on her M.S. in Forensic & Investigative Science while working on her research thesis, "Determining the Spatial Origin of Striations and Projectiles", and teaching undergraduate labs and online classes. In doing that, she discovered her love for teaching, and is now going into her second year teaching at Jefferson High School. Madison teaches forensic science, AP physics, and biology. She is also our advisor of the Interact Club at Jefferson High and is currently running for faculty senate secretary in hopes of becoming more involved at the school.
This past June, Madison married her husband, Hunter Palmer, who is a dentist at the Charles Town Dental Center. The couple met at WVU and later moved to Harper's Ferry, where Hunter was born and raised. Madison fell in love with the area and wants to give back to the community.
